Vice President:

FHCA
is ÒleasingÓ a horse to B Troop for $120 p/year. This ensures the horse does not go onto the Government
Property Book.
-
Recently
retired B Troop horses provided back to FHCA equals $120 in value; VP
recommended that we ÒeliminateÓ the B Troop leased horse payment for
2007 and call it evenmake the value of the Òturned inÓ horses
equal to the cost of the leased horse. In this way, FHCA does not
have to owe B Troop at the end of the fiscal year.
-
Under
the lease program, should a B Troop horse become unsuitable, FHCA can then
Òmore easilyÓ remove it from the ranks and sell it. This renders a more streamlined means for trading horses
between FHCA and B Troop.
-
Treasurer
determined that we may need to review the B Troop contract to determine if we
then need to provide liability insurance for the horse (since it belongs to FHCA)
and/or post the asset to the FHCA balance sheet. VP will review the exacts of the contract before the next
monthly meeting.
Ways and Means:
-
Tombstone
Silver Nugget was visited by Sheila Holland on 30 December. 2x Mugs had been sold. Most merchandise was displayed in a
basket residing on the checkout counter.
Remaining items did not have a price tag. A price check sheet was, however, in the basket with the remaining
items.
-
Palladini
will spend $380 dollars for more inventory (FHCA sale items).
-
Henry
Hauser Museum sold 2x Mouse Pads.
-
Palladini
is looking for new ways to raise funds.
Suggested volunteering personal items for sale in the Post Thrift
Shop. 25% of sales profit would go
to Thrift Shop—remainder would go to FHCA. Palladini will take emails and volunteered to collect items
for delivery to the Thrift Shop.
McDaniel suggested that he might be able to support with occasional old
furniture from Office-Smart.
